You can replace a component on every BOM where its used with a few simple clicks. Heres how to use the Replace This Component In Every BOM Where It Is Used feature.

• Navigate to the part record of the component you are wanting to replace.
• Click BOM DATA+ on the left hand column of the part record, and then click BOM USE.
• Notice near the left side of the page, Replace This Component In Every BOM Where It Is Used has a text box next to it.
• In the text box, you will enter an already created part, which Cetec will automatically populate for you.
• Select the component, then click Submit.
• Cetec will automatically replace the old component with the new one in all BOMs where it is listed.
• Verify the consistency of the update by searching a component or two to ensure the appropriate system behavior has occurred.
