- In Cetec, you can create workorders for a top-level assembly without also creating workorders for subassemblies.
- Create a quote for a multi-level BOM, then commit it to order.
- Once you click commit order, you are taken to a screen where you can choose how the subs of this BOM are handled.
- Because you do not want to build your subs as a part of this order, select “No.”
- Commit your order, and you will see one only order has been created.
- Click Workorder View+ and then click Line 1.
- Drill into the Parts tab, and notice that the sub shows up here and has just one line, since it is not being built as part of this order.
